Open all year round, The Pheasant Lodge is a beautifully bespoke shepherd’s hut, hidden away behind high hedges and overlooking peaceful open countryside. Designed exclusively for couples, this adults-only retreat offers the perfect place to relax, unwind, and escape the stresses of everyday life 🌿
With its own private Scandinavian-style wood-fired hot tub, evenings can be spent soaking beneath the stars with a glass of wine in hand, listening to the sounds of nature and watching the world slowly drift by ✨
Inside, the lodge is surprisingly spacious and full of charm, featuring a king-size bed, cosy seating area, and a traditional log-burning stove to keep you warm on chillier evenings. The beautiful fitted kitchen includes a ceramic hob, microwave oven, and full-size fridge with ice box, while the stylish en-suite shower room boasts a large 1100mm shower, traditional high-level cistern toilet, and wash basin.
As you walk up the steps to the lodge, you are welcomed by a beautiful covered decking area to the front — the perfect spot to enjoy outdoor dining, morning coffee, or simply relax whatever the weather 🌿 Beyond this, the private garden area features a BBQ, fire pit, wood-fired pizza oven, sun loungers, and bistro seating while cattle and sheep graze peacefully nearby. Hidden away you’ll also discover a secret little arbour, ideal for quiet moments watching the world go by ✨
Everything you need for a relaxing stay is provided, including pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, tea towels, and washing-up essentials. Optional extras such as bathrobe bundles and chilled Prosecco are also available to make your stay even more special 🍾

🚫 Group bookings of 2 or more adults are not permitted (except couples and immediate family members).
🚫 No hen or stag parties permitted.

🔥 Each unit also has its own designated honesty cupboard where additional logs, kindling, and essentials can be purchased during your stay.
