The Owner Says
The Hereford yurt named after the cattle we breed it is set in a sunny corner of a field overlooking open farm land.
It is accessed by a short walk through our old orchard where lambs frolic in the spring and pears from the tree's can be picked in the late summer walk past the apple tree and see a metal gate where peace, quiet and relaxation can be found.
The yurt is off grid with eco friendliness in mind the yurt is lite with solar lanterns and fairy lights giving a romantic atmosphere.
The Hereford has a double bed with supplied bedding and will sleep 5 persons very comfortably with two futons for additional guest one single and one double, bedding for these is not supplied we ask that you bring your own bedding.
On chillier evenings there is a log burner to keep you toasty warm.
The yurt is complete with a camp style kitchen with 2 ring gas hob and grill, pots, pans, cutlery and crockery are supplied along with t-towels and washing up liquid
The yurt has its own quirky bathroom facility with composting loo and super hot shower.
The Hereford yurt NOW has it very own Scandinavian wood fired hot tub, which will be supplied with enough logs to warm your hot tub once.
on arrival your hot tub will be cold unless you have booked our optional fire lighting service to have your hot tub pre warmed
for your arrival.
Prices start from £100 per night with a minimum stay of 2 nights.(based on 2 people) prices may increase during the summer months. Book your stay by using the calendar widget.

Well behaved dogs are more than welcome, we do ask that they are kept under strict control as we do have livestock nearby.Group bookings of 2 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
No hen/stag parties permitted.
Single-sex bookings of 2 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted.
The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

Tipsy tree is on the outskirts the small hamlet of Englesea brook which is between the villages of Weston and Barthomley both have White lion pubs, both do food, The White lion at Barthomley has a lunch time menu and Weston serves food throughout the day and evening. There are plenty of fabulous places to eat out just a short drive away.The historical towns of Nantwich, Sandbach and Chester are a short drive away.
We can offer off road driving experiences in one of our landrover defenders, these do usually have to be pre booked.
