About Rolling Fields Glamping

Originally set up by two sisters Fiona and Monica and now run by Fiona, who both grew up on this farm. It was bought by their Dad in the 70s and is still a working farm, they have walked and played all over the farm and are now looking forward to sharing some of that with you.

During Spring and Summer, you will be able to see sheep with their lambs in the field and combines and tractors busy collecting harvest. Rolling Fields Glamping are lucky to be surrounded by natural beauty and have an abundance of wildlife on the farm. You can expect to see Red Kites soar overhead, hear the owls hoot at night, see sheep grazing in the meadow and if you look carefully you will often see hare and deer roaming in a field. The farm is in the small village of Moulsford, Oxfordshire. Moulsford is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty lying by The Chilterns and in the Thames Valley.

They have 2 beautiful 5-metre Luna Tents, which with the added height, really do make you feel like you are in luxury and one 6-metre Nomadic Tent and 2 gorgeous 5-metre traditional Star bell tents. These can take between 4 -5 guests. They all have bedding and towels provided, including lovely warm duvets to keep you cosy. The tents have an electric fire stove inside to keep you warm on a chilly night and also their own outside seating area and brazier to have a fire and toast some marshmallows.

They also have a Shepherd’s Hut which has been lovingly renovated by Fiona's step-brother Simon. This contains a small double bed, perfect for snuggling up to your loved one on a chilly night. The Shepherds hut is just nestled in the woods on the side of the field, giving it a slightly different feel to the tents. The hut has its own outside seating area and a more private outside area in the woods for you to sit with a fire.

Accommodation

Three bell tents, two luna tents (bulbous, bell-tent-like structures) and a shepherd’s hut in a more secluded spot in the trees.

Booking Policy

Arrivals and Departure Times

Check-ins are from 4pm and check out by 11am. If you arrive earlier, The Beetle and Wedge is a lovely gastro pub on the river in the village and there is a great park for children to have a play.

Pets

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed as it is a working farm.

Site Rules

Please be mindful of other guests and keep noise to a minimum after 10:30pm and before 8am.

Please wash up your cooking equipment at the washing up area provided and make sure you also clean the BBQ, so that it is ready to be used by other guests.

Please also strip beds before your departure. Many thanks.

Changes / Cancellation Policy

Should you need to make a change to your confirmed booking we will do our upmost to try and assist, however, we cannot make any guarantees that we would be able to meet your request. We suggest that you take out suitable travel insurance in the event you need to cancel your stay.

If we can accommodate your change requests, please bear in mind there may be additional costs incurred (e.g. if you change dates from low to high season). Bookings may not be transferred to other parties at any time.

Cancellation by Us

In the unlikely event of a cancellation by us and where we are unable to offer you a suitable alternative you are entitled to a full refund of all monies paid.  We regret we cannot pay compensation or any reimbursement of any expenses or costs you may incur as a result of any such cancellation or change.
