Hi there! We are Ali, Katie, Euan and Jude - Parklife Campers! Family explorers, adventurers, mischief makers, smile and memory creators and chaos co-ordinators! We have always been passionate about outdoor sports, travel and adventure, and met having completed a number of winter seasons in Europe. We love to play outside - you're never too old!
Our first journey in a campervan came in April 2010 when a planned trip to Thailand was cancelled due to the volcanic ash cloud from Iceland. We’ll never forget feeling really organised and excited, packed ready to go, with a new summer wardrobe and travel guides at the ready, and within 24 hours we were unpacking and getting our heads around all flights being grounded. A familiar feeling for many in 2020 following lockdown.
We quickly changed direction and embarked on a free-styling trip through France in a T2 Bus called Bali, with no schedule and no fixed itinerary, simply the open road, a few Cool Camping books and an Ipad. It was April, and we weren't too sure what clothes to take, so by then the methodical packing went out the window, with all the other best laid plans and we took the bare minimum. Chucking in the bikinis was wishful thinking, but how wrong we were! We followed a glorious heat wave all around the Dordogne. They say life is what happens when you are busy making plans!
Over the years, it has been an aspiration to own a number of vans and share the experience with likeminded people looking for alternative ways to holiday. That dream is now a reality with Parklife Campers. We don’t have a map, just pure self-navigation and determination. We have two brand new shiny T6’1 California Oceans ready for your Parklife adventure, these are very highly spec’d and fully kitted out ready for your own memory making!
Break the norm, go your own way and share our journey. The road ahead is open, and often, it’s not the journey or destination it is the company….

Above expectations
Imagine a perfect experience, and you'll get more! Not only that you receive exactly what is advertised but you will meet a kind and respectful family welcoming and assisting you with your every need, curiosity, question. Nothing is more satisfying then getting what you pay for, but when you buy services from a family run business you get much more as nothing compares with a genuine intention and direct implication of the owners. Highly recommend, do not let doubt put you off as you will find flexibility and understanding, just ask!
Amazing service & experience
Brilliant service from Katie & Ali at Parklife Campers - we had never done anything like this so they helped with all of the booking process and giving us advice on campsites and areas The campervan was clean, stocked with all necessities and handed over with all the detail needed We had an amazing trip round Dorset exploring the beaches and our little one absolutely loved being in the campervan We would definitely book again :)
Great introduction to campervanning
We had an idea that we would buy a campervan and decided to hire one first to see how we would get on. Katie and Ali could not have been more helpful from booking to handover and return. We hired ‘Hey Jude’, with our little dog. The van was clean, in great condition, with all of the equipment you might need and more. We will buy a campervan eventually but, before we do, to gain a little more experience, we will hire ‘Hey Jude’ again from Parklife Campers.
Fabulous family adventure to the Yorkshire coast...
The friendly and professional service from Park Life Campers was second to none. From the informative video guides to the warm welcome and detailed handover, everything made our hire run smoothly. The Cali we hired was top-spec and immaculate throughout. Our family of four is considering buying a camper, and the half-term was the perfect chance to try before we buy with an adventure to the Yorkshire coast. We usually stick to the South/South West coast but had heard great things about the Whitby area, so we decided to try somewhere new—and we were not disappointed. Whitby was definitely the highlight, a charming, old-world town that reminded us of the streets of York. We traveled around and stayed at three campsites in total. Also worth mentioning was Woodhall Spa, where we stayed at Woodhall Spa Country Park. There were plenty of walks and activities, including an outdoor heated pool at Jubilee Park and even a woodland cinema! If you'd like to experience van life, I can wholeheartedly recommend Park Life Campers.
Fabulous van and service!
Just had an amazing weekend in the Buddy van. It’s got everything you need, especially loved the heating! Lovely van to drive. Great service with all the videos we could watch before we picked the van up and the handover when picking the van up. Felt very confident in using all the features in the van after all the information! Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be renting a van again!
Great van, even in poor weather
Went for a week in the Peak District with the doggo, weather was rubbish but the van was great! Easy to drive, easy to use, warm comfortable and had amazing sleep!
Superb Camper-vans, Fantastic Service and Communication.
What a wonderful first timer camper van experience we had! The van (Buddy), was an absolute dream to drive, park and manoeuvre. It was clearly well looked after, spotless, ran perfectly and was superbly equipped. The detailed instructions you provided before handover, plus the videos were brilliant, as well as so helpful, especially explaining how every feature operated. Lastly I just wanted to say that communication was excellent, it was so refreshing to deal with a ‘real’ personable people, Katie and Ali are so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a great all round service guys, we highly recommend and we will be back!
Great van and great people
We took a Parklife Camper to the Paris Olympics. The camper van was spotless and very well maintained. Katie and Ali were fantastic. I would recommend Parklife.
Fun weekend camping at Silverstone
My friend and I hired Hey Jude for the F1 British GP and had so much fun! Was so good having all of the luxuries included in the campervan after being out and about all day - even managed to keep warm and dry during the constantly changing weather conditions. It was our first time hiring a campervan as well, but Katie and Ali were incredibly helpful and accommodating every step of the way. Will definitely be back for another road trip!

Loved the experience of being free to visit different places and taking our temporary home with us
We have camped before but not with so much luxury. Getting to know the VW camper van was made so easy with the video tutorials Ali and Katie provided. Driving was great I didn't feel I was struggling in anyway. There were a few cold nights in early March but when we put on the heating and warmed up our bed with the electric blanket we were very cosy, The VW is compact with lots of storage spaces but of course it is a small van so next time we need to take less stuff and be better organised. We chose campsites near to the South Devon Coast so we could get walking near the sea, but when we had to drive closer it was so easy to get the VW ready and find a carpark near to the beach. We enjoyed the freedom and comfort and definitely will be hiring from Parklife Campers again to continue our adventure along the south coast,
A trial run at home before the big LEJOG walk in April!
We had Buddy on our drive so we could get to know what fitted where before our long 3 month hire beginning in April when we walk from Lands End to John O’Groats for two charities. Parklife are so very supportive and helpful, giving us lots of advice and useful tips. Cannot recommend them highly enough and they have thought of everything you need in the van. Cannot wait to begin our trip with them!
The first time in a camper but not the last. A most wonderful trip of Ireland and Wales which will last in our memories for a long time. The van was wonderful and had everything you needed.

The kitchen had everything I needed, including a decent sharp knife, scissors, cafetiere and proper china coffee cups. The fridge/coolbox was a good size and kept everything fresh and cold - especially the wine. The bottom bed with the mattress was very comfy and easy to get setup. The front seats were more comfy to sit in and relax when turned around than the back bench seat - and table slides to be near either front or rear seats. Great to set up the laptop to watch some Wimbledon. Altogether a lovely break with the freedom to enjoy the outdoors in some comfort.

Scottish NC 500 road trip
The team at Parklife campers were amazing, they provided all the insights on the van and how to best utilize it. The Van was clean and well maintained and had everything you need for a trip to scotland. The Van was well laid out and easy to use the cooker, sink and fridge. Storage was not a problem for me and my dog. We did not use the upper bed, but was comfortable on the rock'n roll bed. The pop up roof was great because you could stand up. I would recommend using them again.
Exciting, comfortable and fun.
We had a brilliant holiday in Buddy, it (he) is such a lovely vehicle. We slept in the upper bed which was much more comfortable than we were expecting and quite straightforward to climb up, (even for the over 60's) but it helps if your flexibility is good! The van had everything we needed, including very efficient heating which was much needed on some mornings/nights. We didn't cook much in the van other than breakfast, but we could see that cooking a full meal wouldn't be an issue. Due to the changeable weather, the table and chairs were constantly in and out of the van, but everything was very straightforward. We had a lot of storage space for everything that we (thought) we needed to take. Buddy attracted a lot of attention from other campers due to his fine good looks, and chatting to others on site made the experience even more enjoyable. Kate and Ali are a lovely couple and run their business in a family orientated manner. Your experience is very important to them; they are always on hand to ask questions, nothing is too much trouble, and they give a very comprehensive handover which gave us confidence to enjoy our adventure. We will definitely book again, and would highly recommend Parklife Campers.

Honestly my best travel experience in my life
Katie and Ali are very very kindful guys. They help me and explain me all of van functions. They were patient with my poor English language. Van is very very lovely,driving like a Mercedes S class. We driving to Slovakia (quite far)but honestly no feeling tired. All of the van functions are the best but very very useful are automatic gear box(moving van like a dream),ice fridge,engine pull like a train,head lights very bright good for old man like me,webasto. Van got a lot of tools and functions and ready for travel but we using just few of them. The body color is very nice (combination of the white and blue,like sky). Honestly I recommended 100% for every body would like have a very very great and memorable travel. Big respect for Ali and Katie.

Brilliant in every way
Katie was so helpful in every way helping me with a booking at short notice given a unique set of circumstances! The hand over with Ali and Katie was superb going over everything I needed to know after watching all of the videos sent to me on their app. 'Buddy' is a great camper, absolutely beautiful to drive and does everything a camper should do in an incredibly nice way. The return handover was just as efficient with Ali checking everything over fully but quickly. Overall the whole experience was absolutely perfect in every way and can't thank Katie & Ali enough for saving my weekend.. Thank you so much :)

Superb travelling accommodation!
From the moment we booked we were so well looked after. Easy communication by email (or phone) and relay superb helpful videos to view at your leisure whilst awaiting the pick up date. Very easy location to find in MK and a very friendly and reassuring handover which started our trip well. We were four adults travelling and didn’t use the camper to sleep in - at our advanced age preferring hotels - but the camper meant we could economise by having breakfasts and lunch onboard. Less outlay AND great to eat in the fresh air. Also lots of room for our alcohol import allowance. Altogether an experience we,would want to repeat. Well,done PARKLIFE Campers.

Loved it!
If you’re considering hiring a camper, then these are the people to go with. The camper itself is first class, we wanted for nothing and it drives like a dream. We travelled for almost a week as two adults, a one and six year old… the kids loved it too! Ali and Katie are fab hosts and are happy to answer any questions pre and during your rental. Hand over was swift and informative. Loads of little touches that make all the difference, my favourite being the fresh coffee ☺️ We would defo hire again, so that tells you all you need to know ;0)
Great week making memories
We loved our week with Hey Jude, the following are some of the reasons why, Ali and Katie did everything they could to make our week a success, from booking to our return. The thorough handover gave us the opportunity to see all the great features on the van. Hey Jude is great to drive, or so my son said, he hardly let his dad in the driving seat. Van is very well equipped. All we needed to pack was food and clothes and we were off. Hey Jude was so clean and well presented. Was great to be able to take out dogs with us, as they are part of our family. We managed to explore National trust properties, a motor racing event, overnight trip in the countryside and a much needed day trip to the beach. This is the first time our family have hired a camper and we would thoroughly recommend it. We are already looking at rebooking with Parklife Campers. Thank you, to Ali and Katie.

Lovely weekend away
We are back from a long weekend away in "Hey Jude". The van was a pleasure to drive. We were originally a bit nervous about driving a bigger vehicle, but all the modern features, like rear view camera, 360-degree parking censors, cruise control, etc made things really easy. The videos before the handover were really useful, as they allowed us to get familiar with the van. Ali and Katie were very helpful and answered all our questions. The handover was also thorough, so we felt comfortable with everything. We went to the Peak District in early March and had a lovely time. The diesel heater worked great in the cold evenings. The van was fully kitted out and equipped, so we only had to bring food and bedding/towels. This made our usual camping packing list so much shorter. Fantastic experience, 100% recommend. :)

Silverstone Christmas Lights
I have owned a T5 camper van for a few years now and I was interested to see what it was like to drive a real VW California. WOW!! These vans are fully loaded with every gadget you can imagine to make driving a real pleasure. They are quiet, comfortable, a joy to drive and every time you park up, people come over to talk to you about the van! Having spent 2 days driving the camper Ali had to prise the keys out of my hand when it came to handing it back ! I can't wait to get the opportunity to drive one of these vans again. On a practical note, the booking communication was clear and easy to understand. Follow the instructions in the emails you get from Katie and Ali and you can't go wrong.

Luxurious camping trip for the whole family
My family and I had a wonderful holiday thanks to Parklife Campers. We took "Buddy" for a trip to Norfolk and were amazed at how luxurious camping could feel in this beautiful van. Having the freedom to explore some of Britain's beautiful coastline in style has been so much fun for the whole family. From the super comfy beds to the well-equipped kitchen, and all the little details included, Parklife Campers have thought of everything. The Park family also have a wealth of knowledge and experience which they happily shared to make sure we got the most out of our time in "Buddy" the camper van. If you are looking for fun and adventure or just some time chilling in the countryside I would highly recommend Parklife Campers for their beautiful vans, and their professional, helpful and friendly approach. Just got home from our first ever Campervan trip and we loved it! We rented “Buddy” for 5 days and it was so much better than we imagined. The van looks amazing, drives like a big car, has all mod cons and is really comfortable at all times whether you are driving, relaxing or sleeping. As this was our first trip, we were a bit nervous when we made the booking but Katie couldn’t have been more helpful, even sending us videos showing how to set the van up (putting the roof up, levelling the van, swiveling the front seats, turning the back seat into a bed etc). Ali did a very thorough handover for us when we picked Buddy up so we knew exactly how everything worked before we set off. We went to Norfolk and had a brilliant time. This definitely won’t be our last trip with Parklife Campers and we would recommend them to anyone who is thinking about trying a campervan but likes a little bit of luxury too. We had an amazing weekend in Hey Jude! The vans are equipped with absolutely everything you need and the games package we had for the kids was enjoyed by all!! We would highly recommend Parklife Campers - the process was seamless from beginning to end and we shall definately be re-booking!! Our 2 children are desperate to sleep in 'the roof' again!

Everything you could want or need from a getaway whether it’s adventure or peace and nature. I cannot recommend this fabulous company enough, from the customer service to the van itself everything was perfect. So easy and room for my wheelchair as well as the hand tricycle I attach to the front. Also loads of storage as well as everything to keep you comfortable and happy.
