A spacious pitch in our tent area beside the river, at the bottom of a gently sloping field. Pitches measure 18m x 9m. We allow dogs but they need to be on a lead at all time in consideration of others. Firepits and Barbecues are allowed as long as they are raised off the ground. Firepits are available to hire. There is no access to the river.
Top Circle Grass Pitches Non EHU

Top Circle grass pitches are situated at the top of the camping field backing onto the river. They offer more privacy and are encircled by the meadow until mid July, we allow dogs but they must be kept on a lead at all times in consideration of other customers. Firepits and Barbecues are also permitted as long as they are raised off the ground.

Individual Grass Camping Pitch located in the far bottom corner of the site. Surrounded by recently planted saplings and our meadow late spring to mid summer. Appropriate for tents or campervans that want an off grid experience

Spacious grass pitches with EHU, located close to the main onsite facilities. Suitable for caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and campervans. Due to the gradient of the farm track down to our site, best suited to caravans pulled by 4WD or cars with bigger engines. Prices are for up to 2 adults. A luxury star bell tent, set on raised decking overlooking the meadow, surrounded by tree saplings and wild grasses offering additional privacy. No pets are allowed in the Bell Tent.
About Walkmill Campsite
A secluded, quiet, peaceful campsite surrounded by the River Coquet, with an abundance of wildlife and nearby woodland walks. Also, a 5-minute drive away is Warkworth Castle along with it's fabulous beaches and traffic-free cycle routes. Walkmill Campsite has a static caravan onsite which acts as an information centre, equipped with a bathroom, hot shower, bath and toilet. Campers can also use of the kitchen's sink, microwave, fridge freezer and kettle. Walkmill promote camping in a natural non-commercial environment, with spacious tent pitches located close to the river.

Booking Policy
IMPORTANT - DO NOT USE SATNAV to find us. POSTCODE works with GOOGLEMAPS.
General arrival from 1.00pm before 8.00pm. Bell Tent arrival from 3.00pm. In the event of a late arrival please let us know. Departure by midday.
No access to the River Coquet from our campsite, boundary clearly marked by a top wire fenceline.
Dogs to be kept on a lead at all times.
Cyclists /Walkers arriving from Warkworth, look out for the footpath to the bridge at the last bend at the bottom of Watershaugh Road,
Tents 6 berth + are subject to a £3 per night supplement, add on the extras screen.
Minimum pitch price is £15.00, some pitches also have supplements, please use the extras buttons to amend accordingly if this applies to your booking.
We do not allow large group bookings.
Cancellation Policy
Once a booking has been made Walkmill does not offer refunds. Bookings are transferable for up to 12 months if we are given 7 days notice prior to the date of arrival. We recommend that you have your own holiday insurance to cover any unforseen circumstances.
